Obverse description Central field features the national emblem of Saudi Arabia: a date palm above two crossed scimitars with curved blades pointing outward. Surrounding the emblem, a circular Arabic legend reading the full royal title of King Saud bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud curves along the upper and lower periphery. The coin is bordered by a uniform dentilated rim.
