Obverse description Central field displays the city arms of Regensburg — the two crossed keys of Saint Peter — set within a laurel wreath, with the date 1619 divided below the keys. Surrounding the wreath, the field is densely populated with the heraldic shields of the various estates and imperial cities, arranged in a ring around the central device. A legend in Latin runs along the outer border of the coin.

Reverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the centre of the field, with wings spread and both heads facing outward, surmounted by a single imperial crown. On the breast of the eagle rests a globus cruciger (orb) bearing the numeral 60 indicating the coin's value in Kreuzer. The circular Latin legend MONETA REIPVBLICAE RATISBONENSIS encircles the entire device, identifying this as the coinage of the Republic of Regensburg.
