| Reverse description | The central device features the crowned Dutch lion rampant left on a horizontally-lined shield, surmounted by an elaborate royal crown with cross finial, all rendered in crisp relief. To the left of the shield the denomination numeral 1 appears, and to the right the gulden symbol G, flanking the arms symmetrically. The date 1943 is inscribed at the base of the design between two decorative dots, with the mint mark D positioned just below the shield to the right. The circular peripheral legend MUNT VAN HET KONINGRIJK DER NEDERLANDEN runs around the upper and lateral rim, enclosed by a continuous beaded border. |
