| Obverse description | Youthful bare-headed effigy of Queen Wilhelmina facing left, her long hair loosely gathered at the nape and falling over the shoulder, with a delicate beaded necklace visible at the truncation. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine sculptural detail characteristic of the engraver Willem Jacobus Schammer. A continuous circular legend surrounds the effigy along the beaded border, reading WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN, with the engraver's initials W.S. appearing below the bust truncation. |
