Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Grand Duke Leopold I of Baden facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair. The portrait is positioned centrally within the field, displaying a strong neoclassical style characteristic of engraver Carl Friedrich Voigt. The circular legend reads LEOPOLD GROSHERZ OG VON BADEN, separated by a period stop, running along the upper periphery. The coin is bordered by a fine inner beaded rim.
