Obverse description Draped bust of Frederick IV facing right, bearded and bare-headed with flowing hair, set within a beaded inner circle. The denomination is indicated by the numerals XXVI at the left and the abbreviation ALB. at the right of the effigy, referencing the value of 26 Albus. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery outside the inner circle, reading MONETA NOVA ARGENT. MANHEIMII CVSA, identifying this as new silver coinage struck at Mannheim. The portrait displays finely detailed armored dress with an ornate collar.
