Obverse description Conjoined laureate busts of Emperor Francis Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth facing right in high relief, Francis Joseph slightly in front and wearing a laurel wreath with ribbon ties, Elisabeth adorned with a floral wreath in her hair. The circular Latin legend runs around the periphery, interrupted at the base by the reissue date 2010 and the mint mark A, with the fineness mark 925 and an additional A positioned in the right field. The portraits are rendered in a finely detailed Neoclassical style consistent with mid-nineteenth-century Austrian medallic art. The entire design is bordered by a continuous dentilated inner ring.
