Obverse description Frontal enthroned figure of King Albrecht I, crowned and wearing royal robes, holding a sceptre in his right hand and an orb in his left. The king is depicted in a formal, hieratic style characteristic of late 13th-century German hammered coinage. Small crosses flank the figure in the field to either side. A beaded inner circle frames the central design, with the royal legend surrounding the whole in the outer field.
