| Reverse description | Nimbed bust of Saint Paul facing left, rendered in high relief with a full beard and draped mantle, in the Renaissance style typical of Roman papal coinage. The apostle is depicted with naturalistic facial features and flowing drapery over the left shoulder. A mintmaster's mark appears below the bust in the lower field. The circular legend surrounding the figure identifies the saint and the issuing city. |
