Obverse description Full-length frontal figure of Pope Gregory XII in pontifical vestments, including tiara and cope, standing within a beaded inner circle. The pope raises his right hand in benediction and holds a long cross-staff in his left hand. The figure is rendered in the Gothic style typical of early 15th-century papal coinage. The surrounding legend, separated from the central device by a beaded border, reads GREGORI VS PP XII.

Reverse description Two crossed keys of St. Peter, symbols of papal authority, displayed saltire-wise in the center of the coin within a beaded inner circle. A quatrefoil ornament appears beneath the crossed keys. The design is bold and emblematic, consistent with contemporary Roman papal grossi. The surrounding legend reads SANCTVS PETRVS, invoking the apostolic patron of Rome.
