| Obverse description | Papal coat of arms of Clement XIII centered in the field, comprising a quartered shield displaying the Rezzonico family arms — eagles and diagonal bends — surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys of Saint Peter. The tiara is rendered with fine detail including three crowns and an orb finial. Flanking scrollwork frames the shield, and the encircling legend reads CLEM·XIII PON·M·A·IV, identifying the pontiff by name and regnal year. |

| Reverse description | Four-line Latin moral motto inscribed in large, bold capital letters within an elegant baroque cartouche formed by symmetrical foliate and scroll ornaments. The cartouche is surmounted by a small foliate finial and flanked by acanthus-style flourishes. The legend VTERE / QVASI·HOMO / FRVGI is inscribed across the upper three lines, with the date 1762 occupying the fourth line at the base of the cartouche. The inscription, derived from Cicero, exhorts the reader to live as a frugal and virtuous man. |
