| Obverse description | Papal coat of arms of Clement XIII occupying the central field, consisting of a quartered shield surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys of Saint Peter. The shield displays the heraldic devices of the Rezzonico family, including an eagle in one quarter and diagonal banding. The crossed keys, one gold and one silver bound with a cord, flank the tiara on either side. The circular Latin legend reading CLEM·XIII PON·M·A·II· runs along the periphery, divided left and right by the keys and tiara. |
