Obverse description Central field displays the papal coat of arms of Clement XI (Giovanni Francesco Albani), featuring a shield charged with three hills surmounted by an eight-pointed star, all ensigned with the papal tiara and crossed keys. The shield is flanked by elaborate acanthus scrollwork. The circular Latin legend surrounding the design reads CLEM XI P M A XI, denoting Clement XI as Supreme Pontiff in his eleventh regnal year. The coin's rim is defined by a pronounced inner beaded border.

Reverse description The reverse features a large ornate cartouche composed of bold foliate and scroll-work, surmounted by a decorative floral finial. Within the cartouche, the scriptural inscription DATE ET DABITVR is displayed in four lines across the field, referencing Luke 6:38 ('Give and it will be given to you'). The overall composition is characteristic of the refined Baroque engraving style prevalent at the Rome Mint during the early eighteenth century. The rim is edged with a fine milled border consistent with the obverse.
