| Reverse description | Central field displays the Sforza horse bit (il freno), a well-known personal impresa of Ludovico il Moro, depicted with a decorative ribbon bearing the motto ME NE INBRIGA (meaning 'I do not forget'), enclosed within a beaded inner circle surmounted by a ducal crown. The device is boldly struck and occupies the majority of the flan. A circumferential legend in Latin runs between two beaded borders, referencing Ludovico's role as regent. The reverse design is typical of the impresa coinage issued during the regency period. |
