Reverse description Facing aurochs head, the traditional symbol of the Principality of Moldavia, with a five-pointed star positioned between the horns. A five-petalled rose appears to the left of the aurochs head in the field, while a crescent is placed to the right. The design occupies the central field and is enclosed by a circular legend in Latin uncial script. The overall composition follows the established iconographic tradition of Moldavian medieval coinage under the Mușat dynasty.
