Reverse description Central field depicts the auroch's head, the principal charge of the Moldavian princely arms, shown en face with prominent horns, a star between the horns, and a crescent and a rosette at the neck, all rendered in bold relief within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding Latin uncial legend reads SIPETRI WOIWOI, meaning 'Official coin of Voivode Peter,' interrupted by a fleur-de-lis ornament at the base serving as a word separator and a cross pattée at the top. The composition is characteristic of hammered medieval coinage from the Moldavian principality under Peter I (Mușat).
