Obverse description Crowned nine-fold quartered coat of arms of Anhalt displayed at center, flanked on either side by a laurel branch forming a wreath below the shield. The mint-master's initials 'C' and 'P' appear in the field to the left and right of the arms respectively. The shield is surmounted by a large ornate crown. The overall composition is rendered in a Baroque heraldic style typical of late 17th-century German coinage.
