Obverse description Quartered shield of arms occupying the central field, displaying the Mansfeld heraldic charges: horizontal barry stripes in the upper-left and lower-right quarters, an eagle displayed in the upper-right quarter, and a lozengy pattern in the lower-left quarter, with a small figure (miner or wild man) as a supporter to the left. The mintmaster's initial K appears to the right of the shield. The whole is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The circumferential Latin legend reads IOH.GEO.CO:ET.DOM:IN: identifying Count Johann Georg II as issuer.
