| Obverse description | Crowned heraldic shield bearing the arms of Schaumburg-Lippe: a central inescutcheon displaying the nettle-leaf (Brennnessel) charge of the Lippe family, quartered with the stag-antler arms of Schaumburg, all surmounted by a pearl-bordered princely crown. The shield is rendered in fine line engraving with hatching indicating heraldic tinctures. No peripheral legend appears on the obverse; the design occupies the full field within a plain border. |
