| Obverse description | Central field displays the numeral '24' within a beaded inner circle, surmounted by a stylized castle or tower device with crenellations, representing the arms of Brunswick. The denomination indicator and castle motif are enclosed within a rope-style inner border, surrounded by a Latin legend along the periphery referencing the Emperor Matthias and the date.
