Obverse description Central oval shield bearing the wheel of Mainz — a six-spoked cartwheel — displayed within an oval cartouche surmounted by an electoral crown. The shield is flanked on either side by symmetrical laurel branches tied at the base, forming a wreath-like surround. No peripheral legend appears; the design occupies the entire field in a restrained, neoclassical style characteristic of late ecclesiastical coinage.
