Reverse description The enthroned figure of Frederick August II as Imperial Vicar seated facing front upon an elaborate canopied throne surmounted by a double-headed imperial eagle, set upon a stepped dais. To the left and right of the throne appear the numeral '1' and the Groschen symbol denoting the denomination. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the design within a beaded border, recording his Vicariate authority over the Saxon provinces, with the date appearing in the upper portion of the legend.
