| Obverse description | Armored bust of Francis I, Duke of Stettin-Pomerania and Bishop of Cammin, facing right, wearing a ruffled collar and elaborately decorated cuirass. The numeral 3 appears in the lower field below the bust on certain sub-types, denoting the coin's value of 3 Pfennig (Dreipölker). The peripheral legend runs clockwise in Latin, separated by rosette or lozenge stops. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, characteristic of hammered coinage of the early seventeenth century. |
