Obverse description Six-line commemorative inscription in Latin capitals arranged across the field, reading FVLDA / X / SÆCVLIS / GLORIOSA / IVBILAT, with the date 1744 and mintmark D below, all set within a plain round flan. The lettering commemorates the millennial jubilee of the Abbey of Fulda and is rendered in a bold, archaic Roman epigraphic style characteristic of mid-18th-century German ecclesiastical coinage.
