Reverse description Central field features the denomination mark '1/24' (indicating one twenty-fourth of a Thaler, i.e. one Groschen) displayed within an orb or globus cruciger design, with a cross above and the numeral '1' over '24' below, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The last two digits of the date appear prominently in the upper field flanking the orb device, reading '91' or '9z' depending on the year of issue. The surrounding circular Latin legend RVDOL. Z. D. G. ROM. IM. SE. A. references Emperor Rudolf II (Rudolphus II, Dei Gratia Romanorum Imperator Semper Augustus), acknowledging imperial authority. The hammered flan shows typical irregularities of late 16th-century minting practice.
