| Reverse description | A divided heraldic shield occupies the central field, bearing the arms of Cyprus — the Lusignan cross — on the dexter side and the arms of Jerusalem — the crusading cross potent between four crosslets — on the sinister side, reflecting Amalric's dual dynastic claims. The shield is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with a circumscribed legend in Gothic Lombardic script filling the annular band between the inner circle and a second beaded circle at the rim. The reverse design follows the standard Crusader heraldic convention established for Lusignan Cyprus gros coinage. |
