Reverse description A long cross pattée extends to the inner circle, dividing the reverse into four quadrants. The angles of the cross are alternately decorated with fleurs-de-lis and annulets. At the center of the cross, a letter 'A' is enclosed within a lozenge (diamond-shaped frame), serving as a mint or workshop mark. A surrounding circular legend in uncial Latin characters carries the devotional inscription 'Bless the Lord, O my soul,' a common reverse type on Low Countries ecclesiastical-influenced coinage of this era.
