Reverse description Central motif features a short cross pattée with an H monogram of Hainaut enclosed within a small quadrilobe at the center, dividing an interior circular legend into four segments. The design is characteristic of the Valenciennois gros type, with a double legend layout: an interior legend running between the inner beaded circle and the cross arms, and an exterior pious legend encircling the full field. The lettering is rendered in Gothic script typical of late medieval Hainaut coinage.
