| Obverse description | Central short cross pattée occupies the inner field, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A double concentric legend in uncial Latin characters surrounds the central motif, separated by pellets and rosette stops. The inner legend names the issuing authority, while the outer legend bears a religious invocation. The overall design follows the Tournois gros typology derived from the French royal coinage of Louis IX, adapted for the County of Loon. |
