| Obverse description | Full-length frontal figure of St. Peter, the patron saint of Cologne, standing and holding his attribute key in one hand and a book in the other. The Moers coat of arms is displayed at the saint's feet in the lower field. The surrounding Latin legend in uncial characters names the issuing archbishop. The figure is rendered in the Gothic style typical of Rhenish goldgulden of the early fifteenth century. |

| Reverse description | Central shield bearing the Moers coat of arms, set within a four-lobed or quatrefoil frame with heraldic shields in each angle: the Trier arms above, the Mainz arms to the left, the Bavarian (Palatinate) arms to the right, and the Jülich arms below. This arrangement of Electoral and allied arms is characteristic of Rhenish goldgulden of the period. The surrounding legend in Latin uncial characters identifies the mint at Riehl (Rilensi). The overall composition follows the standard Rhenish goldgulden reverse type established in the late fourteenth century. |
