Obverse description Draped bust of Duke Philip II of Pomerania-Stettin facing right, set within an inner circle. The duke is depicted with long flowing hair and period dress with elaborate collar, rendered in the late Renaissance style characteristic of early seventeenth-century German coinage. The circumscribed Latin legend reads PHILIPPVS. II. DVX. STET. POM., identifying the issuer by name and title. A small ornamental rosette or cross device appears at the top of the inner circle. The portrait occupies the majority of the coin's field, with the legend distributed around the full periphery.
