| Reverse description | Central device consists of a heraldic shield bearing a diagonal staff or banner, flanked on either side by crossed laurel branches at the base. The letters S.P. and Q.W. appear in the lower field to the left and right of the shield respectively, referencing the civic authority of the issuing body. The denomination legend EIN GOLDGULDEN arcs across the upper field. The overall composition is bold and classical, consistent with the New Year's gift coinage (Neujahrsgoldgulden) tradition of the Bavarian mint. A beaded border encircles the design. |
