| Reverse description | Three concentric beaded circles frame the central design, at the heart of which appears the key arms of the See of Würzburg within a small shield. The letters S and P appear above, with Q and W at the lower corners, denoting the Latin formula Senatus Populusque Wirceburgensis. An inner Latin legend reading SANGVINE ORE AVRO CORDE encircles the central shield, while the outer legend proclaims VENERATUR AUGUSTUM PATRIAE S.-P.-Q.-W., referencing veneration of the fatherland. The layout and concentric arrangement are typical of New Year presentation goldgulden of this period. |
