Reverse description A large, elaborately quartered and subdivided coat of arms fills the central field, displaying the eleven-fold arms of the County of Stolberg incorporating various heraldic charges including an eagle, lions, checky patterns, and other dynastic elements, all within an ornate cartouche with scrollwork supporters. The continuation of the counts' joint Latin titles forms the surrounding circular legend, separated by stops, completing the inscription begun on the obverse. The overall composition follows the standard heraldic style of early seventeenth-century German territorial coinage.
