Reverse description Central shield bearing the quartered arms of the Palatinate and Bavaria, surmounted by a pointed trilobe (trefoil) frame, with a small subsidiary shield of arms placed at each of the three points of the trilobe. The heraldic composition is set within a plain field, surrounded by the circular legend MO NO AVREA HEIDE, identifying this as the new gold coinage of Heidelberg, all within a beaded border.
