| Obverse description | Armoured, wigged bust of King Friedrich Wilhelm I facing right, rendered in high relief with considerable sculptural depth. The king wears a cuirass with ornate detailing at the shoulder and a cravat visible at the neck. His full-bottomed wig falls in loose curls behind the head. The surrounding Latin legend reads FRID · WILH · D · G · REX · BOR · EL · BR ·, abbreviating his titles as King of Prussia and Elector of Brandenburg, distributed around the periphery of the coin within a milled border. |
