Reverse description An elaborately floriated cross, decorated with fleur-de-lis terminals, is set within a quadrilobe frame. Stylized lilies (fleurs-de-lis) occupy each of the four angles formed between the arms of the cross and the quadrilobe. The overall composition is rendered in the Gothic decorative tradition typical of late medieval Franco-Flemish gold coinage. A Latin circular legend runs within the outer beaded border.
