Obverse description Central field bears a crowned oval shield divided per fess: the upper half displays a Transylvanian eagle with spread wings, while the lower half shows the Hungarian striped arms with castle towers. The shield is surrounded by an ornamental cartouche and flanked by decorative scrollwork. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, separated from the central device by a beaded inner border. The coin exhibits typical hammered fabric with irregular flan edges.
