| Obverse description | The obverse presents a multi-line Arabic inscription filling the entire field in bold, raised Naskh script. The legend reads 'السلطان محمد شاه بن همایون شاه البهمني' ('The Sultan Muhammad Shah, son of Humayun Shah, the Bahmani'), distributed across several registers without a defined border. The script is characteristically robust and densely arranged, typical of Bahmani copper coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with traces of green cuprite patina visible in the recesses. No decorative border or geometric frame is present, the inscription itself constituting the sole design element. |
