Reverse description A crowned shield bearing the Three Crowns of Sweden is centrally placed within a beaded inner circle, with the last two digits of the regnal date divided and positioned at either side of the shield. The heraldic device is boldly struck, consistent with the small-module billon coinage of Johan III. A Latin monetary legend encircles the design outside the beaded border, proclaiming the coin's status as a new coin of the Swedish realm.
