| Obverse description | Three royal crowns arranged in a triangular formation, each depicted as a closed heraldic crown with detailed arching and ornamentation, a characteristic emblem of the Swedish realm. The initials 'A' at the top, 'G' at lower left, and 'R' at lower right flank the crowns, forming the royal cypher for Adolphus Gustav Rex, while the letter 'S' appears at the bottom of the field, denoting Sverige (Sweden). Small six-pointed rosette or mullet ornaments separate the letters in the legend field. The design is rendered in bold, deeply struck relief typical of early seventeenth-century Swedish hammered copper coinage. |
