Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of King Frederick William II, depicted in military attire with an ermine-trimmed mantle and the star of the Order of the Black Eagle visible on his chest, his hair dressed in a queue tied with a ribbon. The effigy is rendered in high relief with finely detailed drapery. The surrounding legend reads FRIED : WILHELM KOENIG VON PREUSSEN, separated by stops, running along the outer border.
