A royal crown surmounts the eagle above, flanked by the date 17-47 divided to either side. The mint mark AE appears at the bottom of the field below the trophy. The circumferential Latin legend comprising abbreviated royal titles reads M.B.S.R.I.A.C.ET PR.EL.S.S IL.D., referencing Frederick's titles as Margrave of Brandenburg, Arch-Chamberlain of the Holy Roman Empire, and Duke of Silesia among others. |
