| Reverse description | Large, elaborately detailed baroque coat of arms surmounted by a royal crown with cross finial, occupying the majority of the reverse field. The shield is quartered and sub-quartered, displaying the arms of the Habsburg-Lorraine dynasty combined with those of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, supported by ornate cartouche-style mantling. The surrounding legend reads DIRIGE DOMINE GRESSVS MEOS (Guide my steps, O Lord), with the mint name PISIS and the date 1770 completing the inscription at the base. The heraldic engraving is executed in fine detail consistent with the work of Fabbrini and the Florentine mint tradition. |
