| Obverse description | Green letterpress bon de monnaie on wave-pattern underprint, with the denomination '1 Fc' in four ornamental circular vignettes at each corner, flanked by lateral foliate guilloche borders. A central medallion at the top bears a profile portrait of Marianne inscribed 'REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE', with the issuing authority 'VILLES DE ROUBAIX ET DE TOURCOING' on either side. The face value 'UN FRANC' appears in large white letters on a solid black cartouche beneath the series inscription 'SEPTIÈME SÉRIE', followed by guarantee and redemption text, municipal council deliberation dates of 20 April 1916, and two manuscript mayoral signatures flanking the control number. |
