| Obverse description | Plain paper bon de monnaie with a small Ceres-type Republic vignette at upper left, within a simple ruled border. The central legend UN FRANC appears in large bold letterpress type, flanked by decorative arrow ornaments, above the text BON DE MONNAIE and the guarantee clause. Three signature lines are printed below, identifying the President (Maire de Senones), the Vice-President (Maire de la Petite-Raon), and the Secretary (ancien Maire de Senones), each bearing a manuscript signature. Series number and issue number appear at the foot of the note. |
