| Obverse description | Plain typeset bon de nécessité on white paper within a rectangular border, with the denomination numeral '1' in each upper corner. The centre carries the title inscription of the Société des Bons d'Émission in letterpress, above two flanking heraldic shields, with the large legend BON pour UN FRANC set in bold type at centre. A small oval cartouche at lower centre reads 'La loi punit le contrefacteur', and the series number and serial appear at the foot; two manuscript signatures appear above the date of deliberation, 30 juillet 1916. |
