Obverse description Printed in black and blue on a plain paper ground, the note is enclosed within an ornate blue Art Nouveau border of interlaced foliage and scrollwork. The denomination panel at centre reads 'UN FRANC' in bold letterpress within a dark rectangular cartouche flanked by decorative vignettes, with large numeral '1' at left and right. The issuing authority, series, and authorising text appear above and below, with two manuscript signatures of the Secrétaire and Bourgmestre across the lower portion, and the printer's imprint at the foot.

Reverse description The reverse is entirely unprinted, bearing only a circular purple administrative hand-stamp applied at centre. The stamp reads 'ADMINISTRATION COMMUNALE DE BLANDAIN - HAINAUT' around its perimeter, enclosing a central heraldic device.
