| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in blue and ochre, centred on the large bold denomination "UN FRANC" set against a radiating sunburst underprint interspersed with a repeated text guilloche pattern reading "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DES DEUX-SEVRES". The issuer's title arches across the top in a decorative letterpress border with ornamental corner medallions bearing the numeral "1", while two manuscript signatures appear below the denomination above the series number and a circular red dry-stamp of the Chamber of Commerce.
