| Obverse description | Blue letterpress note with a salmon-toned repeating-text underprint reading CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE SAINT DIÉ. At the top centre, a classical allegorical female bust with a winged helmet rises above the title panel; flanking the central text block are vertical columns listing the names of surrounding communes (Brouvelieures, Corcieux, Fraize, Gérardmer on the left; Provenchères, Raon-l'Étape, Saint-Dié, Senones on the right), each accompanied by a small vignette of a lamp or torch. At the foot of the central panel the municipal coat of arms of Saint-Dié appears between two manuscript signatures of the Treasurer and the President, with the serial number printed in a ribbon cartouche; the printer's imprint G. FREISZ SAINT-DIÉ appears in the lower right margin. |

The large denomination numeral 1 FRANC is printed in red at centre, surrounded by an elaborate symmetrical foliate and floral arabesque border. To the left and right, stacked circular coin-like vignettes carry Liberty motifs; the redemption notice is set in three lines below the denomination. |
